4 for 4
About 20 miles from the finish line, the Random Wife turned to me and said, "You know, I've decided not to do the Tour de France this year." This will no doubt be welcome news to Floyd Landis, Jan Ullrich, Ivan Basso and all the other dopes -- er, bikers -- training in the Alps these days, but it also confirmed for me that we were going to make it all the way.
And so we did, all four of us crossing the finish line after 150 miles in two days, leaving at least two or three cyclists out of 12,000+ in the dust. More importantly, when that dust settles, we will have raised close to $4,000 toward the day when we won't write names like Jane, Cecily and Vicky on a bandana because they have multiple sclerosis.
Thanks to all of you who gave of your time, treasure and prayer to support this cause. We are proud to have taken part, elated to have finished, but indeed, we are tired, and it is time to go to bed.

Congratulations, Random Family! This is a wonderful accomplishment, made even more so because it was for an important cause.
Now, get some rest -- and then get caught up on your blogging. We've missed you!

Congratulations, Random Family, for a job very well done!
Better late than never, Janie. The site still took my money. ;-)
